How to Repoll POS Sales & Payroll Data
What does it mean to repoll?
A repoll signals to RASI that information has changed in the POS for the previous day. By repolling, the updated information is sent to RASI to update Sales, Payroll, and Report Card Reports
When do I need to repoll?
As a rule of thumb, a repoll should be initiated any time that information is changed in the POS that needs to be updated in RASI or the information that polled into RASI is incomplete.
- EXAMPLE 1: If an employee did not clock out or a manual update was made to the employee's clock in or out, a repoll would be needed to update the corresponding information in RASI.
- EXAMPLE 2: The information that polled does not match to the POS Sales Report
How do I repoll?
There are three different methods in which repolling can occur based on the integration with the POS. Find your POS below for more information.
