My Sales Do Not Balance in RASI, What Should I Do?
Repoll the information into RASI:A repoll takes the information gathered in the POS and pushes it back over to RASI. If there was an interruption or loss of internet when polling, by initiating a repoll, the existing data will be cleared out of RASI and the most current data will be polled from the POS.
Verify that all manual entries are entered correctly:Manual entries can often house mistakes that cause the day not to balance. These can either be manual adjustments to numbers that polled over, or manual entries that need to be entered because they directly impact cash.
Click "Edit" and review manual entries for accuracy against the activity for that day. The most common manual entries include:
Cash Deposits
Negative Deposits (Server Tips Short & House Bank Reimbursement)
Tips Payable
Paid outs
Once polling has been completed, use the refresh button at the top of the day of sales to replace the current data with the newly repolled data. Please note that refreshing does clear out all manual entries so these will need to be reentered
Compare the POS Daily Sales Report against the RASI Sales Transmittal: The POS report can identify items that are not populating correctly in RASI

If discounts or tenders do not balance from POS to RASI, run the Mapping Report in Report Card to see if any discounts or tenders are mapped to cash over/short

My Sales Are Not Populating & I Have a Note on My Sales Transmittal About a Broken Mapping, What Does That Mean & How Do I Resolve It?
Broken Mappings: A broken mapping will occur when a new button is added in the POS and RASI needs to understand how to map and classify it. Tax and Compliance implications are taken into consideration for all new discounts and tenders, therefore, taking time to answer the prompted questions in their entirety will avoid headaches down the road.
View the sales transmittal in RASI for details on what new button is breaking the sales transmittal
NOTE: Even though only one item is broken, all sales will be held and not populate until the broken mapping has been resolved
Send a Support Request answering all prompted questions about the new button and send it to your RASI Client Advisor
The Client Advisor will work with your RASI Accountant to set up any new GLs if applicable and map the discount according to the answers provided
Client Advisor will complete mapping and respond to the request
All sales will populate to complete sales balancing
